Life-Getting What I Put In

Al E Gator

My heart jumps out of my chest as I lose my footing trying to dodge the oncoming mouth full of teeth.  But I lost.  It happened too fast!  I feel the piercing of teeth on my back as I take notice of the wretched smell of death and I can only imagine being tossed around like a rag doll unable to move in deaths locked jaws.  Im disoriented by fear.  My head is now submerged in swampy water as my upper body is quickly being swallowed into a constricting throat of darkness.  My life passes before my eyes.

Its hard to remember the blessings in one’s life when they are going through a rough patch.  I feel so poor I can’t pay attention!  But the truth of the matter is, I make it a priority to count my blessings everyday, for the Good Lord has blessed me and continues to bless me.  He will bring me out of this valley I feel that Im in.

This year will prove to be better than last year and last year proved to be better than the year before.  I am getting married later this year, on a tropical resort.  We make plans in hopes to make them come to fruition and its great to know we want the same things out of life.  We are both God-fearing individuals; we are both blessed.  The question we ask ourselves is where will we retire?  I imagine someplace remote and quiet.  Im not a fan of the hustle and bustle and over populated cities.  Give me a fishing boat, my guitar, a bottle of ice cold beer and my woman by my side and thats all I need!  And of course the financial means to travel the world!

Someday soon, I will post photos of where I am!!

But until then you can find me on Facebook at Rob Armstrong Images-Photography.
