…Yet I find myself laying down on a foot of it, taking photos! Im feeling a bit cooped up, I need to get my ass outdoors with my camera, the problem is that its just too damn cold to be out for too long. I long to be outside hiking but this 5* weather takes its toll pretty quickly. I did get a chance to get to Central Park the other day and I had quite a bit of fun just walking around, though I didn’t really take many photos, just a couple points of interest. I really didn’t have an agenda. My initial thought was to take a ride down to the Brooklyn Bridge and perhaps take a few photos down in the financial district and southern end of Manhattan, maybe even cross the bridge and get a few cityscapes. But I didn’t want the agenda; all I wanted was to just get out of the house and get some fresh air no matter how cold it was.

I did manage to get a few photos of the frozen fountain at Bryant Park but I didn’t think the lighting as all that great, it seemed like everyone wanted to get a pic since its been on the news quite a bit lately, I didn’t think it was all that big a deal. But yet I found myself snapping a few pics. From there I headed over to 5th Ave and took a few shots of St Patrick’s Cathedral, I love that place! Then from there it was Central Park. I had noticed it really wasn’t all that cold, but I guess I can contribute that to dressing for the occasion. I really didn’t feel the cold until I started making my way back when the sun started to go down.

But here is a shot from lying in the snow and a few select shots from NYC.
The rose in the snow looks awesome, reminds me of the cemetery scene from Phantom of the Opera. Great Job! Keep it up
